NEWSLETTER     -        14-12-2009            Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School, Puducherry got selected as one of the best five schools in the state by Hockey Citizen Gruop (regd), Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. in the league matches, Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School got the second position. in the essay competition R. Ranjith of class VIII, won the first prize, I. Reventh of class VIII got the second prize and Sunil Kumar of class IX secured the third prize. In the quiz competition conducted by Hockey Citizen Group, the team comprising of I. Reventh , Rathinakumar both belonging to class VIII and Amrith Priya Paulson of class IX bagged the first prize.           Prizes were given to J.Rozario Bosco and Simon Jude of class IX and P.Pradeep Raj of Class VIII.         "One thousand hockey legs" - trophy was presented to Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School for their  overall achievements and Fr. M.S. john Bosco, School Principal received the Trophy for the year 2008-09.         Law college Table Tennis Club conducted 7th Stale Level Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, under the auspicious of Pondicherry State Table Tennis Association.           K.R. Ilakkian of class IV emerged out as runner up in mini cadet boys category and V. Sudarsanane of class VII came out successful as winner in cadet boys level.           N. Akash Kanna of class V was declared as winner in sub junior level while runner up in Junior boys and Men's singles.              R. Vijay Krishnan of standard XI emerged out as winner both in junior boys and in Men's singles.          In appreciation of exemplary Talent exhibited with extraordinary skills developed in Table Tennis a special award "Mazhalai Manikkam" was conferred on V.Sudarsanane of Class VII. This award was given by  Hon'ble Union Minister of States for Parliamentry Affairs Thiru. V. Narayanasamy to V. Sudarsanane in connection with children's Day 2009.          School Principal, Fr. M.S.John Bosco congratulated V.Sudarsanane and other prize winners..
