PETIT SEMINAIRE HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL PUDUCHERRY

AN APPEAL FROM THE ALMA MATER

The 160 year old buildings in Petit Seminaire have become very weak and have lost their strength due to seasonal changes and ageing. Taking in to consideration the utmost safety of the children, the Management has decided to demolish the old structures stage by stage and to get spacious class rooms.

Accordingly the present Archbishop of Pondicherry and Cuddalore has granted permission and with the blessings the construction of 15 class rooms and 4 laboratories began on 28th November 2007.

As construction of new buildings requires heavy financial commitments and constraint, we hope for liberal contributions from all our old students who are far and near throughout the world. You may feel to involve yourselves in bringing up these buildings, as Petit Seminaire brought you up with parental care a few years back.
Kindly send your contributions to the following address

The Principal
Petit Seminaire Hr. Sec. School

By drafts or cheques drawn in favour of “THE PRINCIPAL – PETIT BUILDING FUND” payable at PUDUCHERRY.

First phase of construction is over and the building (St. JOSEPH'S BLOCK with 16 class rooms)is inaugurated by our Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. Antony Anandarayar D.D., D.C.L. on 4th July 2008.

Now the second phase of construction is started on 9th July. Three labs are going to be constructed in the old Jail section. A huge amount of money (Nearly 1.5 Crores) is exhausted for the first phase of construction. Your valuable Contributions are required to finish the second phase of construction.

Your valuable contribution will be highly solicited and remembered by the future generation too.

Please convey this message to your classmates and friends and also to the old students of our school working in your company.
